Mikhail Skobov is a staff firmware engineer at Lyft, where he leads the development of the bike-station program and contributes to the development of bikes and scooters. Throughout his 10-plus years in the industry, he has worked on embedded research, wearables, micro-mobility and numerous large-scale web services. Additionally, he is listed as the inventor on multiple patents in the human-computer interaction domain.

He has a B.S. in computer science and electrical engineering from the University of Wisconsin, an M.S. in computer science from the University of Washington and a UW Certificate in Embedded and Real-Time Systems.
