Biography
Cambridge Institute of Sustainability Leadership
Paula has over 20 years’ experience in the packaging industry encompassing all areas of the supply chain across several sectors. Starting off in manufacturing with Betts Tubes, she went on to gain invaluable experience within the FMCG giant Procter & Gamble. After a few years working in packaging design, artwork and repro, she has spent the past 10 years building on her knowledge within the retail sector, working at Marks & Spencer (Food & Clothing) & Sainsbury’s at a time when sustainability was becoming a bigger part of the packaging role. Her most recent role at Pret saw her revive the business’ focus on packaging and take on challenging on-the-go issues around coffee cups, cutlery and reusables. An all-rounder when it comes to packaging, her passion for sustainability and her keenness to stay at the forefront of industry discussions around sustainability continue to motivate her after all these years.
