Research & Teaching Interests

Professor Pichler''s research interests include corporate governance, financial intermediation, design of contracts, security design, mechanism design for pricing unseasoned securities, and the interaction of firms'' financing and product market decisions. Professor Pichler teaches financial management and investments.

Industry & Academic Experience

Prior to joining the Northeastern faculty, Professor Pichler taught finance at the Vienna Graduate School of Finance in Austria. She has also taught at Brown University, The Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Boston College and the University of Maryland.
