Lecturer in Business Administration Peter D. Prowitt, manager of government relations for General Electric Company, teaches "Business-Government Relations," a Second Year elective in Darden''s MBA program.

Prowitt has taught at Darden since 1990. Before joining GE, he served as director of governmental affairs for American President Companies, Ltd., as staff director for the U.S. Senate Environment and Public Works Committee and as an assistant to U.S. Senator Max Baucus.
