Peter Starks is the Simulation Facilitator in the Demand Management Course. He received his M.Sc. and MBA from Webster University, Geneva Switzerland, and he holds a B.Sc. from the Cornell Hotel School.

Outside Cornell, Peter is the CEO of REDglobal Group LLc., the designer of hospitality and tourism business simulations in Asset, Demand, Revenue, Hotel, and Food and Beverage management which are employed in over 170 universities and 40 trans-national hotel companies in over 50 countries.

With a blended career in multinational theaters of industry, government, and education, Peter brings a studied, yet pragmatic and multi-dimensional approach to course facilitation. In operations he served as a V.P. of a regional restaurant group; General Manager of four and five-star international hotels; Regional V.P. of Marriott International for Europe, The Middle East, and Africa; and as an Area Director for the United Nations Tourism Development Agency. In education and training, he has conducted hundreds of professional development and university classes in over 50 countries. In 2018 he received the STR, Smith Travel Research International “Bridging” award for his work in bringing industry and academia together through real-to-life simulations.
