Prakash Bagri is currently Associate Dean – Corporate Engagements & Clinical Associate Professor of Marketing at the Indian School of Business.

Prakash brings three decades of experience across industry and academia, which include senior leadership positions in Unilever and Intel. His last corporate role was as Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) for Intel, South Asia. Prakash has also been Adjunct Faculty at the Indian Institutes of Management in Ahmedabad, Bangalore & Calcutta having taught 50+ batches of management students and executives across these campuses.

During his long corporate stint, Prakash built a billion-dollar business, established three new categories, divested two businesses, managed 8 different distribution systems and nurtured & built 12 different brands (from Dalda to Pentium!). Prakash is credited with leading major industry-shaping initiatives to widen technology enablement and its impact in India. He was the architect behind drafting and tabling the Government of India’s Digital Vision document in 2007.

Over the past decade, Prakash extended his influence as advisor & consultant whilst also donning the role of faculty in leading business schools. As founder of PRB Partners, Prakash has provided Board-level guidance and leadership interventions for many organizations. Prakash teaches interdisciplinary courses on managing innovation across hi-tech, new age as well as traditional businesses. His research interests cover innovation, technology, business models, risk & uncertainty, organizational capabilities and partnerships & alliances.

Prakash is a recipient of the prestigious Intel Achievement Award (2005), was featured as “Brand Boss” in The Economic Times (2009) and recognized by the World Brand Congress with the Outstanding Marketing Professional Award (2009).
