Szabolcs Szalay

Szabolcs is Partner and Associate Director in Boston Consulting Group. He has more than 20 years experince in advising financial services clients; prior to BCG he worked for Accenture and as a freelance banking advisor.

He is an expert in Banking IT and Post Merger Integration. He developed tech/digital strategies, IT target operating models, managed large scale business-IT projects (e.g. core banking system replacement, agile@scale transformation) and worked on more than a dozen banking and insurance PMIs. He worked in more than twenty countries across Europe and the Middle-East with the Boards and CIOs of major European banking groups.

Szabolcs has an MSc in Business Administration (major: Information Management) from Budapest University of Economic Sciences, earned his executive MBA (Krannert Scholar) from the joint IMM program of CEU/Purdue University/Tias-Nimbas Business School, and he is a certified EFFAS Financial Analyst.
