Dr. Temitope Awosogba is a robotics certified gynecologist specializing in minimally invasive gynecologic surgeries. She is committed to providing highly specialized complex surgical care using the most innovative laparoscopic and robotic techniques for fibroids, ovarian/tubal disease and endometriosis. She is happy to be able to provide minimally invasive surgery for women who often would be otherwise relegated to more morbid open abdominal surgeries for their fibroids. Dr. Awosogba also practices the full gamut of routine gynecologic care including pelvic pain, abnormal bleeding, sexual health, contraception, cervical cancer screening, family planning and more.

She received her Bachelor of Arts in History and her Masters of Public Health from the University of Virginia. She earned her medical doctorate at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Boston Medical Center. Due to her commitment to excellence in surgical care, she went on to pursue a fellowship in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery at Lahey Hospital and Medical Center. She has been recognized for her compassion as well as her commitment to quality of care to her patients. She is passionate about medical education, surgical simulation and the alleviation of disparities in gynecologic outcomes.
