Terri Grant

Headed the Professional Communication Unit in the School of Management Studies at University of Cape Town for14 years, specialising in professional communication practices, studies and research in business and industry. I have over 35 years tertiary educational experience as well as professional work experience in public and private sector as consultant.

The aim of this twin interest is to maintain mutually beneficial opportunities; it contributes to keeping students up to date with on the job experience and, at the same time, allows me to share research and educational practice in the work place.

Specialties: visual and verbal (written and spoken) communication practices, face to face and online; personal branding; scenario pedagogy and learning (embedded learning in real-time scenarios); multimodality and multiliteracies; team building and dynamics.
