Over 32 years in the investment industry with tried and tested experience and expertise, especially with African SMEs. My experience applies to a broad skillset (due diligence, financing, operations, strategic planning, governance) of investing. From inception, built the management teams, structures and systems for two of East & Central Africa’s largest investment holding companies, namely; ICDC Investment (since re-named Centum Investments)and Trans-Century Ltd. Led in the structuring, negotiation and acquisition of several private equity investments in East, Central and South Africa. Was, for 7 years until January 2020, Managing Partner at Fanisi Capital Ltd., an East Africa private equity investor. Also the founder of Origins Investment Group Advisors, an SME and investment advisory firm based in Nairobi.
