Biography
Harvard Medical School
Dr. Xin Gao is a medical oncologist and clinical investigator focused on providing high quality care for patients with cancers of the genitourinary system. In addition, he is actively involved in clinical trials evaluating new targeted therapies and immunotherapies for patients with cancers of the kidney, bladder, and prostate. Dr. Gao is particularly interested in working to develop better drugs and biomarkers to improve the outcomes of his patients.
Born in China, Dr. Gao grew up in West Virginia and received his B.S. with honors in Biological Sciences from Stanford University. He received his M.D. cum laude from Harvard Medical School. He subsequently trained in internal medicine at Brigham and Women's Hospital and completed his hematology and oncology fellowship training at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center.
