Biography
Ed completed his undergraduate degree in Natural Sciences at University of Cambridge in 2011, specialising in Materials Science. He completed his PhD studies in 2014 at the same institution, working in the Phase Transformations and Complex Properties research group. He was a Research Associate in Cambridge’s Rolls-Royce UTC following his PhD, before starting as a Lecturer in Metallurgy at the University of Manchester in late 2015.
